Mail reçu de Freehostia.com pour informer que les connexions sortantes ne marchent plus sur les comptes gratuits:

« Dear Customer,

This is just a reminder that from tomorrow (16 of Dec 2008) all free hosting accounts will be unable to make any outgoing connections to remote servers. This is valid for customers using our free hosting service only. If you are using any of our paid plans – you will be still able to make outgoing connections.

We are forced to do this, because of too many abusers, hacking many sites over the internet. Our data center is forcing us to take actions and stop those abusers and unfortunately this is the only way.

If you use RRS feeds or you just need to use the outgoing connections option – you will have to upgrade your plan to one of the paid plans.
